Dentures are a removable replacement for a full arch of missing teeth on the upper or lower jaw. Replacing missing teeth can help you function with better chewing, speech, and appearance by providing support to the cheeks and lips. Conventional dentures rely on suction to stay stable in the mouth. Sometimes adhesives are needed to “glue” dentures in if there is minimal support due to bone loss. An even better solution to loose dentures is to have implants placed so that the dentures can be snapped down or even attached permanently for added retention and stability.
